Prone non-contrast CT KUB.
There are multiple dense left renal tract calculi:
- dense distal ureteric calculus approximately 20 mm proximal to the left VUJ measures 5 x 3 mm (3 mm presenting diameter)
- dense ureteric calculus at the L4 level measures 3 x 3 mm
- two small dense non-obstructing renal calculi in the left lower renal pole
Mild left hydroureter and hydronephrosis. Mild left perinephric fat stranding. No dense right renal, ureteric or bladder calculi.
No pneumoperitoneum, free fluid or intra-abdominal collection. Mild hypoattenuation of the hepatic parenchyma, which may represent hepatic steatosis. Normal noncontrast appearance of the spleen, gallbladder, adrenal glands, pancreas, and pelvic organs.
Normal CT appearance of the bowel. Subcentimetre para-aortic and aortocaval lymph nodes. No size significant intra-abdominal lymphadenopathy.
The imaged lung bases are clear. No focal osseous lesion.
IMPRESSION
Two dense left ureteric calculi (5 and 3 mm) causing mild left hydroureter and hydronephrosis. Further non-obstructing left lower pole renal calculi.
