Colonoscopy demonstrated that the right colon was very distended. Caecum was intubated with large area of mucosal ischaemia. No signs of full thickness necrosis. Impression was that it was pseudo-obstruction with caecal partial thickness ischaemia. Entire colon decompressed as much as possible.
