Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Opacity in the medial aspect of right lower zone of the lungs without loss of the right heart border. Lateral view confirms the presence of lower zone opacification in the posterior lung.

One month later

CT confirms a right lower lobe mass.

This lesion most likely represents a lung cancer. Unfortunately, clinical presentation and pathological follow-up are no longer available.
