Leg bowing

Patient Data

Age: 6 years
Gender: Male

At presentation - 6 years

x-ray

Marked bowing of both femur and tibia bilaterally. 

Metaphyseal cupping, frying and irregularities noted.

18 mth later 7.5 yr of age

x-ray

Marked bowing of both femurs.

Right tibial osteotomy. 

18 mth later still 9 yr of age

x-ray

Residual bowing of both femurs.

Adequate alignment of both tibia after corrective osteotomy.
