Known case of poliomyelitis.

Patient Data

Age: 30 year
Gender: Female

Complete loss of muscle bulk with fatty replacement is seen involving the right gluteal muscles (gluteus minus, medius and majus) and all muscle compartments of right thigh (hamstring, adductors, quadrates femoris, lateral and medial muscle groups).
