An alternation in the echogenicity of the renal parenchyma is observed, with focal areas of hypoechogenicity hypoperfused on color Doppler analysis representing the affected parenchyma.
Case Discussion
The ultrasound examination in pyelonephritis can be of great help in defining the diagnosis, contributing to the evaluation of acute changes in the affected renal site.
