x-ray

A large paravertebral mass with widening of lower neural exit foramina. 

Abdomen and pelvis

ct

There is a very large posterior mediastinal/paravertebral/retroperitoneal mass extending into the neural exit foramen. The liver is displaced anteriorly. the right kidney displaced inferiorly. 

mri

Axial T1 and T2 MRI further define the mass and the extension into the right epidural space at the level of the conus. 

Case Discussion

The patient went on to have a resection that confirmed the diagnosis of a ganglioneuroma
