Presented with abdominal pain after eating. Appears pale and sweaty. Vital signs show tachycardia. Laboratory test shows neutrophillia. Bedside ultrasound showed free fluid in pelvis.

Focal diverticulum in the mid ileum with surrounding fat stranding and adjacent locules of extraluminal gas, would be in keeping with perforation of Meckel's diverticulitis.
Other findings: Free fluid in rectovesical pouch. Fatty liver.

Case Discussion
The patient proceeded to surgery and the diagnosis was confirmed: perforated Meckel diverticulum. The appendix was examined during surgery was found to be mildly injected, and an appendectomy was also performed.
