Presentation

Abdominal pain and diarrhea

Patient Data

Age: 80 years
Gender: Male

Post-contrast CT abdomen shows bilateral large adrenal masses, larger on the left side, which extend to cross the midline. Both lesions show inhomogeneous post-contrast enhancement and mildly displace the surrounding solid organs with no invasion. There are multiple discrete retroperitoneal enlarged lymph nodes.

Dense urinary bladder stone.

CT guided biopsy of the left adrenal lesion shows diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, non-GC type.

Case Discussion

CT abdomen study shows bilateral adrenal masses. CT-guided biopsy confirmed these as primary adrenal lymphoma which is an uncommon adrenal lesion. When it does occur, it usually presents bilaterally and affects elderly people.
