There is a presence of an extra structure superficial to the ulnar nerve extending from the medial epicondyle of the humerus to the olecranon process of the ulna. It shows muscle echopattern. Elbow flexion results in ulnar nerve compression between the superficial muscle and the deeper ulnar collateral ligament. The muscle is present on both sides. There is no ulnar nerve edema with an extended elbow on either side.
