US to exclude retinal detachment, unable to view fundus.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

US Eye

ultrasound

Posterior chamber echogenic lines fixed at the optic nerve papilla and extending anteriorly to the region of the ora serrata (appearances of an acute angle with a typical V shape). 
Low level internal echoes are present deep to the retinal membrane suggestive of subretinal hemorrhage. Minimal after movements.
Amorphous echoes are present within the vitreous consistent with vitreous hemorrhage. High amplitude after movements demonstrated.
