A posterior fossa extra-axial mass demonstrates low SI on T1 and intermediate SI on T2 and avidly enhancing post-Gad administration. The mass shows no restriction on DWI. The mass is broad-based on the right tentorium cerebelli with a small portion shows supratentorial extension, compressing adjacent right cerebellar hemisphere and right occipital lobe. A characteristic dural tail sign is demonstrated on post-Gad sequences.

Case Discussion

Patient was referred from another hospital with a posterior fossa mass. MRI was conducted in our institute. The mass was resected with histopathological diagnosis of "common transitional meningioma".
