Presentation

Neck mass.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

Miliary opacities project through both lungs. 

CT of the chest confirms the multiple nodules, which are spherical, well-circumscribed and vary in size.

CECT of the neck shows huge heterogeneously enhancing mass arising from the thyroid glands.

US demonstrates diffuse enlargement of the thyroid gland that has been largely replaced with hyperechoic masses.
