Hook of hamate fracture

Marrow edema through the palmar aspect of the hamate with a linear low signal intensity through the base of the hook. No further focus of bone marrow edema elsewhere.

Undisplaced hook of hamate fracture that was completely occult on x-ray. This case shows the value of MRI in patients with persistent symptoms post FOOSH.
