The MRI sequences demonstrate a large well-defined pedunculated subserosal uterine mass (11 x 8.5 x 7.5 cm), arising from the fundus. It displays an isosignal to the myometrium on T1, low signal on T2 with moderate heterogeneous enhancement on postcontrast sequences with a bridging vessel sign well-visualised on T2 sequences and seen as flow void vessels arising from the uterus, coursing through the myometrium to supply the subserosal mass which confirms its uterine origin.
