Presentation

Sudden onset of severe headaches and vomiting with loss of consciousness.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

The non-contrast CT shows hyperdense superior sagittal sinus, transverse and sigmoid sinuses mainly on the right with multiple areas of venous hemorrhagic infarction in the frontal regions, right parietal, left parasagittal and body of the corpus callosum.

The postcontrast CT and CT venogram confirms the extensive venous thrombosis with an empty delta sign.
