The pancreas is oedematous and there is peripancreatic stranding extending into the left pararenal space. There is a moderate amount of free fluid spread through the peritoneal cavity.
High-density fluid collection is seen in the lesser sac in keeping with a blood products.
The distal jejunal branch of the superior mesenteric artery is large and irregular suggestive of an eroded vessel, which could be the source of the bleeding.
