Gender: Male

Fractured clivus and occipital basion extending into the right occipital condyle.

C4 flexion teardrop fracture.

Case Discussion

Type 2 fractures are occipital condyle fractures that extend from a skull base fracture and are usually considered a stable injury. They arise from a direct blow to the lower skull.
