There are multiple severe biliary strictures in the lower third of the main bile duct, upper third of the main bile duct, common hepatic duct, left main hepatic duct, right main hepatic duct and right intrahepatic branches.
Case Discussion
Patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis develop multifocal strictures and bile duct dilatation, as seen in this case. The cause is not currently known in full, but an immunopathogenic etiology seems to play a large part.
