Knee joint alignment is normal. No joint effusion or lipohaemarthrosis. Subcutaneous soft tissue oedema and stranding in the anterior medial aspect of the knee at and below the level of the patella.
No fracture identified.
Tiny incidental bone island in the anterior aspect of the medial femoral condyle.
Incidental irregular 10 mm round cortically based lesion in the posterior medial aspect of the distal femoral metadiaphysis at the attachment site of the medial head of gastrocnemius is consistent with a cortical desmoid. No associated periosteal reaction.
IMPRESSION
- No fracture or malalignment.
- Incidental cortical desmoid (Bufkin lesion) which does not require any further follow-up or treatment.
