MRI study shows the following:
- bone bruise of the posterolateral tibial plateau and mid part of the lateral femoral condyle consistent with a pivot-shift injury
- torn ACL, seen involved with an abnormal signal mainly involving its femoral attachment with ligamentous sagging down
- a vertical abnormal signal is seen involving the peripheral aspect of the posterior horn medial meniscus near the meniscocapsular surface elicits intermediate to high signal in T2 and PD has seen disrupting its articular surfaces indicating Ramp lesion
- mild knee joint effusion and mild edema of the infrapatellar fat
- localized muscle contusion of the posterolateral proximal leg
