Increased wall thickness due to tumoral infiltration is present in the distal half of the esophagus measuring 8 cm in length. There is no sign of local invasion of adjacent mediastinal structures.
A few small regional lymphadenopathies are observed.
A 45 mm defect is present at the anteromedial aspect of the right hemidiaphragm through which a large portion of omental fat herniates, consistent with a Morgagni hernia and is causing right lung base partial collapse.
A 10 mm nodule is noted at the posterobasal segment of the right lower lobe. There are also several atelectatic bands scattered bilaterally.
Lymphadenopathy with SAD of 9 mm is noted at the para-cardia region.
