Presentation

Painless swelling.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Well-marginated right intra-testicular mass lesion measures 15x13x12 mm at the maximum three dimensions, shows characteristic lamellated (onion skin appearance) with alternating hyperechoic and hypoechoic rings, color Doppler assessment reveals no internal color Doppler signals, consistent with epidermoid cyst.

Case Discussion

Testicular epidermoid cysts are typically present in 2nd to 4th decades. They are the most common type of benign testicular neoplasms. These lesions are benign with no malignant potential, composed of layers of keratinous debris lined with keratinizing squamous epithelium.
