A lateral radiograph of the ankle reveals -bony projection at the dorsal aspect of the talar head-This is a sign of coalition of the talocalcaneal joint, which is clearly seen in this case.
Case Discussion
This is indirect evidence of coalition between Talus and calcaneal bones seen on a lateral radiograph of the ankle. It occurs due to impaired movement of the Subtalar joint which causes the navicular bone to override the talus to produce this deformity over a period of time.
