Renal angiomyolipoma

Presentation

Work up for hematuria.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
ct

The hepatic attenuation value is less than of the spleen, suggesting fatty liver.

A 58×38 mm fat density mass is present at left kidney that extends to the renal hilum. Several small masses less than 22 mm, with similar density are also observed at left kidney. Features are most consistent with angiomyolipomas. 

A 12 mm stone is present at left renal sinus. Three stones less than 8 mm are also evident at left renal calyces. There is also a 4 mm stone at upper calyx of right kidney.

Degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the lumbar spine.
Scoliosis with leftward convexity is present.
