Tibial tuberosity avulsion fracture

Presentation

Football injury after being tackled. Fell to the floor. Knee pain and swelling. Reduced range of motion.

Patient Data

Age: 14 years
Gender: Male

Angulated avulsion of the tibial apophysis at the insertion of the patella tendon.

Post-op follow up (3 months)

x-ray

Double cannulated screw fixation post-reduction.
