There is a dilated cecum with dilated upstream small bowel with a short segment narrowing in the ascending colon, just above the level of the ileocecal valve. The colon downstream from the narrowing is collapsed.
Although there is a mild twist at the level of the narrowing, the cecum appears to be more "flipped up" into the midbdomen rather than there being a "twist" in the mesenteries supplying the cecum.
