Presentation
Wrist pain
Patient Data
There is diffuse sclerosis of lunate with preservation of its shape and contour with normal (no degenerative changes in) surrounding bone and joints and normal ulnar (no negative or positive ulnar variant).
There is a diffuse abnormal signal of lunate which shows a high signal on T1-TIRM, PD fat sat, and low in T1 and T2 without fat sat and heterogeneously higher in fat suppression sequences, comparing with other carpal bones, suggesting edema and loss of fatty marrow with preservation of its shape and contour and normal (no degenerative changes in) surrounding bone and joints.
