Hepatic hydatid cyst

An 80×50 mm cystic lesion with internal septations and without frank soft tissue component is noted at right liver lobe.

Typical appearance of hepatic hydatid cyst which occurs secondary to infection by Echinococcus spp. It is most commonly seen involving the liver, followed by lungs and spleen.
