The fibromatosisFibromatosis or desmoid tumor of the breast or desmoid tumors is a rare tumor and represents <2% of the all-breast cancersall breast tumors. This cancertumor is a proliferation of fibroblasts or myofibroblasts that infiltrate the stroma or breast fat and they haveare low growthgrade, but they are very aggressive and affectsaffect women young orand old.

The causeetiology is idiopathic, but maybe could be associated with Gardner syndrome and familial adenomatous polyposis syndrome and other. According to some authors mention, it is relatedsecondary to trauma or surgery.

This tumor should be treated with wide excision.
