FDG avid large soft tissue mass lesion is seen projecting from the lateral gastric wall into the gastro-splenic region, with SUV max 16. The mass is fairly defined showing internal areas of breaking down. The mass is abutting the splenic hilum with no separable fat planes in-between. The mass is indenting the gastric wall yet with no significant encroachment upon its lumen. Few small nodules are seen adjacent to the large mass.

Immunohistochemistry report confirmed gastro-intestinal stromal tumor, DOG1 and ckitte positive.
