Longitudinal
There is a linear tiny bone flake at the fibular attachment site of the anterior talofibular ligament. The ligament itself shows mild thickening and hypoechogenicity without loss of continuity. There is no effusion in the anterior recess of the ankle joint in the neutral position of the foot.
Asymptomatic side anterior talofibular ligament shows a normal echo pattern.
