Presentation

Six hours history of severe abdominal pain with generalized abdominal tenderness.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

Focal mural defect of the duodenal bulb with adjacent fat stranding and extraluminal air bubbles. Small air bubbles are also noted within the peritoneal cavity mainly around the liver with thickening of the peritoneal reflections and intraperitoneal effusion.
