The acetabulum on both sides has a steep contour and is shallow. Both femoral heads have lost normal rounded shape and are flattened with a short femoral neck.
Case Discussion
Appearance is compatible with bilateral acetabular dysplasia (developmental dysplasia of the hip). Acetabular dysplasia is a form of developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) often referred to in the adolescent and adult population 1.
