Hypoplasia of the rostral superior sagittal sinus

Non- enhanced MR venogram study (TOF) shows hypoplastic rostral superior sagittal sinus with compensatory drainage via bilateral parasagittal frontal cortical veins, larger at the right side.
Hypoplastic left transverse & sigmoid sinuses, as well as left jugular bulb, are also noted.
Case Discussion
Here is a case of multiple anatomic variations of the dural venous sinuses that should be well known to avoid misinterpretation as dural sinus thrombosis.
