Post falling down while playing football associated with severe pain in left hip.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Male

Avulsion fracture in the left lesser trochanter at the insertion of the iliopsoas tendon with displacement.

Case Discussion

Apophyseal avulsion fracture of lesser trochanter is an uncommon fracture associated with heavy exercise.
Careful radiograph assessment in correlation with patient pain is the key to find the fracture.
