Left shoulder pain in swimmer

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Glenohumeral MRI arthrography

Stripping the superior labrum from glenoid and labral tear with a laterally oriented high signal in the labrum. The Biceps tendon and glenoid are normal. Rotator cuff tendons are within limits.

 

Case Discussion

An untreated type II SLAP lesion leads to instability of the glenohumeral joint.
