A group of dysmorphic, non-specific calcifications, assessed as suspicious, probably malignant, can be seen at the upper outer quadrant of the right breast. On microfocus, the calcifications are suspicious for a malignant lesion of the "crushed stone" type.
Case Discussion
It was decided with the patient to perform a stereotactic biopsy.
The histological results showed foci of high-grade ductal carcinoma in situ (consistent P63). No evidence of invasive neoplasia in the material under examination.
