Massive abdominopelvic free fluid is present.

The liver is small and shows nodular margins typical for cirrhosis. No frank hepatic mass is noted in the current study.

Recanalization of the falciform ligament is present suggestive of portal hypertension.

The spleen is enlarged, and its cephalocaudal height is measured 195 mm.

Left sided pleural effusion is noted in imaged portions of the lower thorax.

Fluid containing a small umbilical hernia is seen.

A small simple cortical cyst is observed at the upper pole of the right kidney.

Case Discussion

Cirrhosis with evidence of portal hypertension, splenomegaly, and ascites.
