Presentation

A palpable mass lesion in the left breast periareolar region.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female

Solid mass lesion size up to 18x17mm in the left breast almost central part slightly upper than the nipple with heterogenous enhancement is seen. There is no suspicious lymph node in the left axillary fossa.

There are proven documents for the pathology and immunohistochemistry (IHC) report of the left breast mass.

Case Discussion

The case illustrates MDCT imaging findings of non-metastatic triple-negative invasive ductal carcinoma of the left breast. This type of breast cancer is more aggressive and has a higher rates of recurrence and is more likely affect younger patients.
