Fibromatosis colli

Discussion:

This is a companion case to rID 99477 and was seen and diagnosed 1 day later in practice.

In this instance, the infant presents much earlier due to the early and acute onset of torticollis. The fibromatosis colli is left-sided, a less common site of occurrence in comparison to right-sided incidence. The clinical skeletal examination was normal with respect to possible hip or foot abnormalities.

The worried young mother was reassured and physiotherapy was to be initiated.
