CT shows swelling of the pancreatic body and tail associated with peripancreatic inflammatory fat stranding and low attenuation inflammatory exudate surrounding the pancreas and extending into the duodenal portions, left paracolic gutter, and pelvic cavity.
Left-sided pleural effusion is noted.
Hyperdense stone measuring about 8 mm within the lower pole of left kidney.
A small umbilical hernia containing omental fat is seen.
