Pulsatile abdominal mass

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female

Abdominal aortic aneurysm with mural thrombosis. No hemorrhage. 
Cardiomegaly and multiple renal cysts also noted. 

Case Discussion

Most abdominal aortic aneurysms are asymptomatic unless they leak or rupture. Unruptured aneurysms may uncommonly cause abdominal or back pain, or a pulsatile mass, if large.
