Abdominal and back pain with radiation into the right leg.

Calcification within the wall of an aortic aneurysm.

A large saccular aortic aneurysm that contains extensive mural thrombus. 

Case Discussion

A 7.5cm abdominal aortic aneurysm with a mural thrombus that almost completely fills the lumen of the saccular element. Calcification of the wall of the aneurysmal sac is demonstrated on the CT and the x-ray.
