Case Discussion

HISTOPATHOLOGY

- Microscopic examination shows a spindle cell lesion composed of bland looking spindle cells within collagenous stroma that contains occasional thin-walled non-branching blood vessels highlighted by CD34. The tumor cells show patchy nuclear staining for B-Catenin and are negative for CD34.

DIAGNOSIS
- Features are in keeping with deep fibromatosis / desmoid tumor.
