Work up for cough. CABG two years ago.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

The right subclavian artery is arising from the arch of the aorta directly posterior to the esophagus, inferring an aberrant right subclavian artery. 

Case Discussion

An aberrant right subclavian artery is the most common aortic arch anomaly which is often asymptomatic, but some people may complain of tracheoesophageal symptoms such as dysphagia.
