Presentation
Chronic dry cough and transient mild dysphagia.
Patient Data

There is an aberrant right subclavian artery in the upper posterior mediastinum originating from the posteromedial margin of the aortic arch, coursing the posterior margin of the adjacent oesophagus, and ending within the right side subclavian region.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates aberrant right subclavian artery (ARSA) or arteria lusoria was found incidentally on screening non-contrast chest MDCT. The aberrant artery can lead to dysphagia lusoria or chronic dry cough with an impression on the oesophagus or trachea respectively but in most cases arteria lusoria is asymptomatic. The ARSA is more seen in females as in this case.
