Suspected acetabular labral tear in a patient with inexplicable chronic hip pain.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

Empty fovea capitis. Delicate trannsverse ligament. No labral tear, no signs of previous trauma.

Case Discussion

Congenital absence of the teres ligament has been mainly reported in dysplastic hips. Its incidence and clinical significance are unknown 1.
