Presentation

Day one post flow-diverting stent for ACom artery aneurysm. Headache, multiple medical comorbidities (AF, CCF, cardiomyopathy)

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Flow-diverting stent within the ACom artery. No hemorrhage, mass effect or midline shift. New loss of grey-white matter differentiation in the left inferior frontal lobe, corresponding to the vascular territory of the left orbitofrontal branch of the ACA. Gliosis within the left occipital lobe and right middle frontal gyrus are due to prior ischemic insults.

The post-stenting DSA shows occlusion of a small anterior branch of the left ACA, the orbitofrontal artery.
