Accessory occipital bone sutures are incidentally noted on this 3D volume rendered CT.
Case Discussion
Although occipital bone sutures are relatively common, it is unusual for them to persist into adulthood. These were incidentally noted. Their importance lies in differentiating them from a skull fracture.
